Washington, D.C. — Representatives Stephanie Bice (OK-05) and Sara Jacobs (CA-51) reintroduced bipartisan legislation today to ensure oversight and accountability of privatized military housing to guarantee it’s safe and high-quality for service members and military families. The Military Housing Readiness Council Act would create a council to monitor the Department of Defense’s implementation of the tenants’ bill of rights and creation of a public complaint database and publicly report on all its activities.

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Stephanie Bice (OK-05) demanded the IRS give a full accounting of the $10 million it has spent on weapons, ammunition, and military-style gear since 2020. If the IRS refuses to respond, Bice says she will pursue further actions in the name of accountability.
