This means that the Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means committees will continue investigating whether sufficient grounds exist for the House of Representatives to exercise its Constitutional power to impeach President Biden. This inquiry will remove legal ambiguity and guarantee that the House has the necessary resources and tools to ensure the American people receive the answers they deserve.
Washington, D.C.- Today, the U.S. House of Representatives voted on a two-step stopgap funding bill which seeks to avert a government shutdown. In step one, four appropriations bills: Military Construction-Veterans Affairs, Transportation-Housing-Urban Development, Agriculture, and Energy and Water are extended until January 19th. In step two, the remaining eight appropriations bills are extended until February 2nd.

The first was H.Res. 771, which asserts Israel’s right to defend itself, condemns Hamas, and calls for the release of seized hostages. The second bill was H.R. 4934, the Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. This bill funds the Department of Energy, Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Reclamation, and other related agencies.

Washington, D.C. - Recently, Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency granted California a waiver to impose more stringent standards for motor vehicles. The state is now asking the EPA for a new waiver that would mandate that 100% of vehicles sold in the state must be zero emission vehicles by 2035. In response, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R.1435, the Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act.
