Washington, D.C.- Today, the United States House of Representatives voted to pass Rep. Bice’s bill H.R.
Oklahoma City, OK – Today, Congresswoman Stephanie Bice hosted National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Jay Bhattacharya in Oklahoma City for a series of visits highlighting medical research and innovation breakthroughs.
The visit included tours of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF), Stephenson Cancer Center, OU Health Sciences Center, and Dean McGee Eye Institute — all of which showcase advancements in medicine and research taking place in Oklahoma.

Washington, D.C.- After voting to support H.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill, Congresswoman Bice issued the following statement:
Washington, D.C.- Today, the U.S. House of Representatives voted on their first appropriations bill, H.R. 3944, the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. This legislation includes $452.64 billion for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and $18 billion for military construction and family housing, an increase over FY25 funding levels.
Washington, D.C.- The Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 (P.L. 93-344) sets up a process through which an administration may request that Congress rescind previously appropriated funds. Today, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to eliminate $9.4 billion in unobligated spending at the State Department, USAID, CBP, and other programs. In total, there were 22 rescissions.

Washington, D.C.- Recently, the city of Seminole was notified by the Environmental Protection Agency that funds requested by Congresswoman Bice in the FY 2023 Appropriations Bill have been awarded. These funds will be used for a new water tower replacement. This is an upgrade from the previous tower which was constructed in the 1930s and will drastically increase water quality and capacity for the community in Seminole.

This legislation, which is being considered as part of reconciliation, now heads to the Senate for consideration.
