Veteran in the Spotlight Nominations
Our office is excited to have the opportunity to recognize veterans in our community who not only served our country but have continued to do outstanding work in our community upon their return home from service.
Each month, our office will celebrate a “Veteran in the Spotlight” for their commitment and dedication to our nation and our community. If you know an individual who you feel would be a fit for this recognition, please complete the nomination form here.
All nomination forms will be reviewed by the Veterans Task Force who will make the final decision regarding the Veteran in the Spotlight. The individual whom you are nominating must be a resident of the 5th Congressional District of Oklahoma. Once the individual has been selected, they will be contacted by our office and asked to provide a DD-214 to verify their service. Upon receipt of the DD-214, our office will coordinate the presentation of the Veteran in the Spotlight award with the selected nominee.
Submitting a nomination does not guarantee that an individual will be selected as the Veteran in the Spotlight.
