Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Stephanie Bice (OK-05) recently spoke with Fox News about her new Free Market Mortgage Act of 2023, which would repeal President Biden's regulation that would force lower-risk mortgage borrowers to help subsidize lower rates for high-risk borrowers.

Over the last two years, under the one-party Democratic rule, we have had record levels of spending with little offsets. Last Wednesday, House Republicans revealed our proposal, the Limit, Save, Grow, Act of 2023, to deal with the debt ceiling. The top priorities of this legislation are to limit Washington’s irresponsible spending, save taxpayers money, and grow the American economy.
Washington, D.C.- Today, Congresswoman Bice released the following statement after voting for H.R. 734, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023. This legislation protects fair competition in women’s athletics by enshrining Title IX gender-based protections.
“We can no longer fail to acknowledge basic biological differences between males and females. I will always support policies that protect a level-playing field and promote fairness. Today’s vote is an important step in safeguarding not only women’s sports but the athletes as well.”
Washington, D.C.- Today, Congresswoman Bice spoke on the House Floor on the 28th Anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing.

Today marks 100 days of the new House Republican Majority and we are only just getting started. The 118th Congress has made a point to deliver on our Commitment to America, a nation that is safe, an economy that is strong, a future that is built on freedom, and a government that is accountable.
Last Thursday, the White House released a long awaited 12-page report on the 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal. The after-action review places significant blame on former President Trump and claims that President Biden was “severely constrained” by the conditions created by his predecessor.
Washington, D.C. -Today the U.S. House of Representatives in bipartisan fashion passed H.R. 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act. Congresswoman Bice issued the following statement:
Last week, President Biden issued his budget for Fiscal Year 2024. His budget doubles down on his failed economic policies that have devastated hardworking Americans. During the last Congress, instead of implementing policies to combat record-high inflation, Democrats spent trillions of taxpayer dollars, which increased costs for daily necessities and ballooned our national debt. The CBO’s most recent outlook shows current policies will add more than $20 trillion to our national debt over the next decade.
Washington, DC – Today, Congresswoman Stephanie Bice (OK-05) reintroduced the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Weather Radio Modernization Act, which directs NOAA to replace the outdated technology currently in use throughout its weather radio system. This bill is vital for stations that serve areas with little or no reliable quality cell phone service by ensuring they receive adequate upgrades for existing systems relating to weather alerts, such as tornadoes, earthquakes, avalanches, or chemical releases.
A main priority of House Republicans in the majority is to conduct rigorous oversight to hold the Biden Administration and the federal government accountable to the American people. Although we have introduced critical legislation to get our nation back on track, with a Democrat-controlled Senate and White House, it will be difficult for some of these bills to become law.
