Washington, D.C.- Today, Congresswoman Bice alongside President Trump and House Republican leadership negotiated a legislative package which included a clean extension of funding until March 14, 2025. It also provided disaster relief to those who have suffered from hurricanes and tornadoes and included emergency aid for our farmers.

Washington, D.C. – Today, members of the bipartisan House Paid Family Leave Working Group, co-chaired by Representatives Stephanie Bice (R-OK) and Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), released two discussion drafts designed to provide more families with more paid leave. The co-chairs are joined in releasing these drafts by the full membership of the Working Group, Representatives Colin Allred (D-TX), Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D. (R-IA), Haley Stevens (D-MI), and Julia Letlow (R-LA).

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Bice voted in favor of the Fiscal Year 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which fully supports our military. This year’s NDAA will help increase our military recruitment, retention, and readiness by improving servicemember's quality of life and strengthening the lethality of our armed forces.

Oklahoma City, OK. – Last week, Congresswoman Bice and Congresswoman Houlahan introduced the Protecting Military Parental Leave Evaluations Act to establish clear policies across all branches of the military to exempt servicemembers from performance evaluations during periods of parental leave. It also adds more flexibility by allowing servicemembers two years to use leave without a waiver.

Washington, D.C. – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the government through December 20th

Congresswoman Bice issued the following statement:

"While this CR is imperfect and not what I preferred, it was the only option left. I could not in good conscience vote to shut the government down, which would have damaging effects on our community, our military, and our border patrol agents.

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Bice voted in favor of H.R. 9106, the Enhanced Presidential Security Act of 2024. This legislation provides increased Secret Service protection to Donald Trump, the Republican Party’s nominee for this year's Presidential election. This legislation comes after two assassination attempts on the former President within the last few months. The Bill passed the House of Representatives unanimously.
