Washington, D.C.- Today, Congresswoman Bice supported H.R. 1968, the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, which funds the federal government through September 30, 2025. This legislation is a clean continuing resolution (CR) which prevents a government shutdown and supports our troops, veterans, and CBP agents.

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Stephanie Bice (R-OK) introduced the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Mineral Spacing Act this week. The bill would streamline and improve the permitting process for energy development, remove duplicative regulations, and better respect the rights of private mineral holders. A companion bill was reintroduced in the Senate by Senator John Hoeven (R-N.D.).

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Congresswoman Bice reintroduced the Stop China’s Continuous Purchase (CCP) of Land Act, legislation designed to safeguard American agricultural land from foreign adversaries. Foreign land ownership in the United States has surged over the past decade. This legislation incentivizes states to prohibit countries such as China and Russia from acquiring U.S. farmland, ensuring that critical resources remain under American ownership.

Bice joined Representatives Randy Feenstra (R-IA), & Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA) to lead in the introduction of the Paid Family and Medical Leave Tax Credit Extension and Enhancement Act. This bill will help small businesses offer paid family and medical leave (PFML) to their employees.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Bice issued the following statement after the House passed H.R. 27, the Halt All Lethal Trafficking (HALT) Fentanyl Act, a critical piece of legislation aimed at permanently classifying fentanyl-related substances as Schedule I drugs under the Controlled Substances Act. In 2024, 1,181,939 Fentanyl pills were seized in the region.

Oklahoma City, OK. – Recently, Congresswoman Stephanie Bice and Congresswoman ChrissyHoulahan reintroduced the Protecting Military Parental Leave Evaluations Act to establish clear policies across all branches of the military. Currently, parental leave policies vary from branch to branch of the military, and there is no universal framework for how long-term parental leave should be addressed in evaluations.

Oklahoma City, OK - Congresswoman Bice was thrilled to be appointed by Speaker Mike Johnson to serve on the Board of Visitors of the United States Military Academy at West Point on Monday. The Congresswoman and her fellow board members will examine the morale, discipline, curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods, and other matters related to the academy that the board decides to consider. The Board of Visitors is the governing body at West Point and was established in 1815.
