Washington, D.C.- Today, the House of Representatives voted to pass the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024, legislation which includes six appropriations bills: Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration; Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; Interior, Environment; Military Construction, Veterans Affairs; and Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development. This package provides targeted cuts to wasteful non-defense programs. Importantly, it strategically reduces spending in a responsible and sustainable manner.

Washington D.C.- Recently, Congresswoman Bice spoke on the House Floor in favor of impeaching Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Now that the articles of impeachment have passed the House, the Senate must hold a formal impeachment trial.

Washington, D.C.- Today, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to avert a government shutdown and extend the funding for Military Construction-Veterans Affairs, Transportation-Housing-Urban Development, Agriculture, and Energy and Water until March 1st and the other eight appropriations bills until March 8th.
