The American Dream is rooted in the belief that hard work leads to a secure and fulfilling life, a vision shared by people both within our borders and around the world. Yet, significant challenges have arisen as Republicans are currently tasked with addressing the economic repercussions of policies enacted by the Biden administration.
On Saturday, July 13th, 2024, the nation was shocked to its core. It was on this day that President Trump almost had his life taken away in Pennsylvania. This assassination attempt left others injured and tragically resulted in the passing of Corey Comperatore.
As August approaches, I’m looking forward to being at home in Oklahoma and taking advantage of the opportunity to meet and engage with constituents across the Fifth Congressional District.
Since taking office, President Biden has used the power of the pen to add new, burdensome regulations across all sectors of the economy. The scope of government overreach has reached a point that is untenable. While this trend did not begin with the sitting President, it has grown exponentially under his administration.
Oklahoma has some of the strongest protections in place to ensure a secure election system. Other states cannot say the same. It is the American people’s right to choose their elected officials, but over the years our foreign adversaries have found ways to interfere in our democratic systems.
The servicemembers who put their lives on the line every day for their country deserve to have their nation put them first. The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is one of the most important pieces of legislation that Congress works on every year. |
On Memorial Day, a solemn day of remembrance, it’s crucial to reflect on the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who laid down their lives in service to our nation. Memorial Day is not just a day off or a time for barbecues; it's a time to pause and pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to safeguard our freedoms.
There is no more noble duty than to serve others. Officers throughout Oklahoma, and across the nation put their lives on the line everyday so our communities are safer. Law enforcement is our essential line of defense in maintaining law and order, and they deserve our full support.

This past weekend, Iran launched its first ever direct strike on Israel. Iran and its proxies, who are the primary backers of Hamas, launched an unprecedented aerial strike, utilizing one-way attack drones, surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, and land attack cruise missiles at our ally, Israel. Thankfully, Israel has the ability to defend itself.
