Forever Indebted to our Veterans

Veterans Day honors the men and women who have bravely and selflessly served our homeland throughout history, including those among us today, those who have sustained perpetual injuries both physically and mentally, and those who did not make it home. It’s days like these that we put differences aside and come together, as one nation under God, for the greater good of the country.

Oklahoma is home to many veterans, especially in the Fifth Congressional District. It’s my honor to represent them and ensure their voices are heard in Congress. Throughout my first term in Congress, I have had the opportunity to support and work on meaningful legislation that will better the lives of those who have served. In addition, I’ve had the chance to meet with veterans throughout the district to hear their concerns and talk through solutions I can bring back to Washington. I have and will continue to support efforts that take care of the people who have devoted themselves to the care of our nation.

America is America because of these true patriots in Oklahoma and across the nation. We are the home of the free because of their incredible bravery and commitment to the greater good. I am forever grateful to our veterans who have sacrificed to preserve the values of America and its uniqueness as a nation built on freedom, security, and opportunity.
