Bice Sworn in for First Term in U.S. House of Representatives

OKLAHOMA CITY (January 3, 2020)  - Today, Congresswoman Stephanie Bice was sworn in to begin serving her first term as United States Representative for Oklahoma’s Fifth Congressional District.

“I am honored the people of this district have chosen me to represent them in the 117th Congress,” Bice said. “We have tremendous challenges before us as a nation and we need a Congress that can get things done. I’m ready to work diligently for Oklahomans to propose meaningful legislation that will strengthen our economy and put Americans back to work.”

Congresswoman Bice, the first woman elected as Republican Freshman Class President for the 117th Congress, represents parts of Oklahoma, Pottawatomie and Seminole counties. Committee assignments for the freshman class have not yet been assigned.
