Bice Supports Bill to Combat Inflation

Washington, D.C. - Today the United States House of Representatives passed the REIN IN Inflation Act, legislation which requires the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors and Office of Management and Budget to prepare a report detailing the inflationary effects for any executive order with an estimated impact of at least $1 billion.

Congresswoman Bice issued the following statement:

“Since President Biden took office, inflation has skyrocketed and prices on everyday goods and services are having significant effects on hard-working Oklahoman families. Today, I voted yes on the REIN IN Inflation Act, legislation I cosponsored from my friend Rep. Stefanik. This legislation would help reduce inflation and provide a critical check on Biden’s reckless executive orders. I will continue working to find ways to lower the price of goods for constituents of my district and across the state.”
