Bice Statement on the Passage of H.R. 2377

Washington, D.C. - Representative Stephanie Bice (R-OK) released the following statement:

“H.R. 2377 uses broad language to cast aside an individual’s due process rights and represents a serious infringement of the Constitutional rights of responsible and lawful gun owners,” Rep. Bice said. “Ultimately, this legislation would do little to save lives or reduce crime and would violate American’s right to due process. The United States House of Representatives should instead pass effective solutions focused school security, mental health, and policing to prevent these tragedies from occurring in the future.”
