Bice Offices Seek Summer Interns

March 4, 2022

Washington, D.C. – Representative Stephanie Bice’s (OK-05) Washington D.C. and Oklahoma City offices are seeking interns for Summer 2022.

The Washington, D.C. office intern will assist staff by providing exceptional services through individual constituent interaction on the phone and in person, conducting research for legislative staff, assisting with constituent correspondence, and attending hearings and briefings. Interns may also be asked to assist with processing tour requests and conducting tours of the Capitol (should Capitol tours resume).

In addition to assisting staff with constituent services needs, District-based interns conduct field research, create spreadsheets, develop written materials, and complete other assignments designated to build professional skills and learn the policy and communication functions of the office in greater depth.

“Interning in one of my offices gives students the unique experience of seeing first-hand how Congress works, while also serving the constituents of OK-05,” Rep Bice said. “Working directly in the U.S. legislative branch develops invaluable skills that no doubt lead to success in the classroom and post-graduation.”

Typical summer sessions run from May through August. Official start and end dates have some degree of flexibility. Applications for both D.C. and Oklahoma City are considered upon submission with a deadline of Friday, March 18. Interested applicants may apply here.
