Bice Named to House Appropriations Committee

Washington, D.C. - This week, the House Republican Steering Committee selected Congresswoman Stephanie Bice to serve on the powerful House Committee on Appropriations. The Appropriations Committee controls discretionary spending and has oversight over the expenditures made by the federal government. 

Congresswoman Bice issued the following statement:

“I am incredibly honored to be chosen to serve on the House Appropriations Committee for the 118th Congress. This committee controls the power of the purse and will allow me to have oversight over how American taxpayer dollars are spent. Furthermore, serving on this committee allows me to ensure the needs of Oklahoma’s Fifth Congressional District are met.
